I'll do a straight trade for a mint Ferrari 308 GTS. Let me know if you're interested. :p

Yes sure there are always other rare things out there, much of which I have little or no interest in, but this was my 'one'.

Lysol, I was glad to see you got a NIB-one for a relatively fair price ..
(I mean: You can STILL make a load of cash on it, if you ever sell it !!)

But like I said earlier :
Soon it won't matter, 'somebody' has all the original Cherry-cap machines and tooling
and they are willing to start the machines !
In fact, you should bring this sale to the attention of your connection in Kraut-Cherrycap Land !!
(NO offense intended, I rather like the Germans...Despite the fact they have owed my country a few billion ..For 70 years )

Yes, isn't it hilarious ?
The old, beat-out, hackboard -
Ends up being the most expensive one ..

What was it the last of you payed for the NIB-ones, 200 Euro or something ?
LOL !!!!!!!
You are all welcome btw .... Merry X-mas :)

My wife is already screaming 'SELL IT !!'  to me  :(

I Think the 'O' in 'HASRO' means 'Oligark-edition' !!

(Sorry to hear you didn't get one Alessandro ..
If you have the cash, you should go for that dye-sub UK-layout g81-3000 they have on auction.
It's the old MY-switches, pretty sure they are plate-mounted, like on my g81-3000 HAM with danish doubleshots.
It's very nice keyboard to type on in fact, and UK-English virgin dye-sub caps are not seen often )

Yes, but the other ones, you actually have a NEED for !
I really hope that board goes to someone in the UK, don't let the 'g81' get in your way,
old plate-mounted MY-switches are a lot better than their reputation would let you believe .
Especially with those super-thick PBT-caps !

I bought one from this seller.
But Today I got the message from buying service.

"Sorry, We check again and then out of stock now"

Yeah why this seller tell me now after five days?
I think it might be associated with this.

http://www.ebay.de/itm/SEHR-SELTENE-CHERRY-TASTATUR-ESA-3000-HASRO-KEYBOARD-ENGLISH-RUSSIAN-VERY-RARE-/310526616726?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D4050764679737368737%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%
3D310526616726%26

It's already over 505 euro daxx it.
Very greedy seller, I have never seen before like him.

He might pretend he doesn't have. He sell or put them at auction again.

I don't know. We bought them on the same day... would figure they would have shipped them at the same time. I hope they didn't decide to play games with you after they sold the other ones for 2,3x the price you bought it.

Oh man, I had forgot about this thread.

Don't worry those that didn't get one, you can buy peter's.  It's on ebay for $750 to start and if you can't wait 9 days, it can be your's right now for the low low price of $2275.

EDIT: And yes, I *am* going to call you out on this imbecilic decision at every turn.

It's ok with me if they keep pushing up the prices. Then maybe my trade proposal for a Ferrari is no longer far fetched. LOL.

Actually though I do hope no one buys them. Paying more than $200 for one is kind of silly even to me.

Yes they are 100% dyesub, both legend. Mine also has vintage blacks and NKRO, so it's also a nice winkeyless ansi 3000 in addition to the keycaps. Now, only to exchange the AT cable for PS/2 one so I don't have to use retarded adapter :)

If it's got NKRO, just run it into a soarer box.
If you want to solder a new internal connector on it, I have a PS2 cable from a NIB G81 that I cut off (it's a good cable! I never throw out good cable.) before throwing the KB away. You can have it if you like.

I guess I could make one for you, but I'd need at least a good picture of the connector and the pinout.

I got the ps/2 cable covered, have some new Cherry ones I got from somebody for just these kind of thing. No fancy converter needed for AT to PS/2 swap.
I haven't gotten around to open it yet, but many model just have a little mini connector so not even soldering is needed. Just unplug one and plug in the other and close it up. If not, then 4 or sometimes 5 solder points is no problem.

What I meant was soldering a new one of those connectors onto my cut-off cable (Then plug it into the keyboard internally), but if you've already got it covered, great. Maybe I'll clip both ends and make a sweet coiled USB cable or something.
