Ah, someone placed a bid. The BIN was $1300, which is what I've heard they go for on the Korean forums.

This isn't the most expensive Corsa I have ever seen, not a horrible price, surprisingly. Also is a kit, very jealous of who gets it

With this I forsee OTD boards becoming even more rare in the West.  AFAIK, they don't like this sort of thing.

What makes it so valuable other than the limited production run?  Aren't there several kit boards that look almost identical out there for a couple hundred dollars or less?  I'm assuming it's more of a collector's item, but I'll admit that I don't really understand the Korean Customs market. If they really go for that much, would think they'd just produce more, looks like it's just milled and bead blasted aluminum.

The big brass weight in the back is a large part of the appeal. As far as I know, few custom boards aside from OTD ones have that. Otherwise, it's all about the rarity.

$850 seems pretty steep for an unassembled Corsa, though. I'm surprised that someone is willing to spend that much. Maybe I'm just out of touch with how popular OTD boards have gotten.

How much did they sell for at GB time? I seem to recall the Corsa boards often fetching these kinds of prices.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I thought the corsa was one of the cheaper OTD boards besides the cheat. I don't know much about them so I may be wrong but I thought these went for $500-$650 with the 456gt being next at around $750-$1000 and then the 356 series rapidly increasing in price from there. Again someone please correct me if I'm wrong. It's just my opinion that this is a little steep and he can sell it for $5000 if he wants its not mine 8)

The reason the 360c was cheaper than the rest of the OTD boards (exceptions ofc) is that it was an open GB for all the world. Some of the members from GH got their board straight from OTD.kr. At OTD.kr you collect points by posting and staying active etc. If you have enough points you can enter the OTD gbs. Just 1 month after the GB the price increased to 750 ea at 3rd party sellers and now I haven't seen one publicly for sale for about half a year. I guess that's the reason why these boards are increasing in value by so much, the rarity and the fact that the community expands at a rapid pace. Same goes for CCs.

Yes, you are correct. I have been out of the Korean collecting market for a while, and I'm out of touch with the pricing.

I always thought New In Box meant unopened, fully sealed. This doesn't look NIB to me, just new.  :)

Precisely.  This can't be NIB since there never was a box.  It's just "unassembled".

while it sucks for the community. There was no legal agreement that said he couldn't sell it for a profit. Might have burned a bridge with nasby, but that's not really our problem. So how he got it and what he's doing with it should be irrelevant to this thread.

I was more concerned about the price and if it breaks OTD rules and how that will impact community relations between the two.

I was more concerned about the price and if it breaks OTD rules and how that will impact community relations between the two.
Man **** OTD for all I care. The item is mine, I could give a **** about their "rules".

Breaking their rules could affect other members here.  that's my point.  If you don't want to follow their rules, don't get one of their boards or buy things with stipulations attached.

That said, I don't know if any rules are being broken here, I was just wondering because I've heard that stated in the past.

No rules are broken since 360c was an interenational group buy. The rule for OTD boards is that you are only suppose to sell them to another OTD member (inside Korea)

What community relations are there? Aside from a few members from OTD coming here and a few members from here going there I don't see any relations.

We're lame or they're lame. Not sure which one :))

Really though, I guess language is a big part of it. OTD is strictly Korean and GH is strictly English. Korea isn't like Europe where almost everyone under the age of 40 speaks English as a second language. I know I would love to contribute more on OTD, but I don't speak Korean. The best I can do is make the odd post kindly translated by vesper in their photo album section.

Fair enough.  I certainly understand why there aren't daily back and forths, but a collaboration effort for something would be really fun.  Just a little something to show appreciation for each other and that we respect the other group.  We are in the same hobby, after all.  :)   Is OTD the one that requires Korean email address?  Or am I mistaken?

Anyway, I'm quite off topic and getting a little hippie over here, so sorry for that.

You can make an account there without an issue, but the google translation of the forum is really bad :( They are also very patriotic, hence why OTD boards should only be bought and sold in Korea. We can always try though :)

That's such an odd rule that you can only be korean to buy one of their boards and can be only sold to another korean...Would it not be weird for someone to say for a group buy "CANADIANS ONLY" or "REAL AMERICANS ONLY" I get language, but limiting a board to only koreans is such a weird thing.

I don't know, Maybe It's a korean culture thing, that I'm unaware of...

It is an odd rule Air Tree, and it took me a long time to find this exact color and it was not cheap for me either. There is another common color which is 'blue grey' which is the less expensive color.  I never assembled my kit and have moved on to another hobby. All the serious buyers are likely not going to be found on this site so that's why I didn't post it here.

OTD classified sales are often in bundles, that way you can't prove one item is overpriced.

Corsa was only run once on OTD forums and originally sold for 450 IIRC. There were 2 colors.

I backed out but idk about the other buyers.

Modified: corrected the name of OP. It wasn't signature.

I contacted him when Azhdar posted this showing interest. Dubs said his friend is about to buy it and he is sitting on it unless I want to offer more. I forgot all the details but we somehow arrives at 1250 and I was about to buy it but he became unresponsive after telling me that I'm just going to buy it and charge back scam him as he doubt's my credibility as a buyer after all my large purchase history from many of the members here. After some time, he contacted me saying I should message him here on GH if I'm still interested in which I decided not to as I found a much cheaper one from a friend "fully assembled"  and I was under the impression dubs isn't going to sell to me because he thinks I'm a scammer.  :thumb: Should have taken the 1250 from me instead of bashing me like I'm a scammer good sir.

Hoff this is an example as why you shouldn't have blamed me for stealing your clack without admitting you just misplaced it. Some people are under the impression that I'm a scammer when I haven't scammed anyone at all.

Dubs clearly implied I'm a scammer by stating I would run off with the board while charging him back for my payment sent for the board. I've also had 10+ high value transactions fall because they think I might scam them by either charging back or not sensing the item I'm trading.

If I was ostentatious, I would have posted my full collections already in an attempt to show off but clearly that hasn't happened has it.

no longer pending  :-X

Sold or backed out?

Where did Hoffman directly accuse you of stealing his clack?

He didn't say it publicly though he did PM many of his friends this info who slowly spread rumors around privately as well. Hoffman is the only person epzy could possibly be reffering to as I was at keycon and there was only one eyeland clack there and it was Hoffs's. I also have texts from him saying he will not post publicly that he eventually found it and he mishandled the situation. He specifically told me that he is willing to clear things up for my transactions that fell through privately by pm but not publicly because it could get "Nasty". Btw just because the people I deal with tend to want to keep their identity anonymous doesn't make me shady. I had all the video evidence back then but they kept removing them because the contained personal info which was against the rules.

I didn't, and I wish he would stop lying about that.  I thought I lost it and asked a few people to keep an eye out for it.  It was right at the time when Synjin was involved in a lot of potential scams.  Then I found it and realized I derped.  End of story.

Potential scams which were all proven wrong by the use of actual live unboxing videos as well as signed and verified official USPS letter of notification with the contact info of an official postmaster of the local USPS in my area :thumb: Next time you should state that they were all proven to be false accusations and one of them even turned out to be an actual scammer.

Not as mature as you continually letting your friends bash me because I stole your clack even if you found it later on without even mediating by making them stop :thumb: Might as well keep letting people accuse me right?

Would you like me to post proof or would you just admit that my statement is true? I don't mind posting our texts with your permission. It was quite disappointing as I thought we were friends until you suddenly accused me of stealing your clack.

Idk why you also claim to only sell caps at retail when you clearly walked up to me during keycon and sold me two caps for $100 each and later on contacted me about selling me three of your caps for $500 + each.

1) I already found a cheaper one that I purchased fully assembled during the time Dubs was unresponsive after accusing me leaving me under the impression that he isn't going to sell.
2) I'm not about to give Muneyz to Dubz considering he said I would charge him back and run off with his board.

I'm sorry, but I can't control what people say.  If they want to call you shady, that's their right.  They felt that long before I misplaced my Clack, and I think it would do you a great service to realize that.

If you really feel the need to go full middle school drama with this, fine.  Do it.  I can't really stop you.  I won't deny telling you I didn't want to unlock that thread to post that you are reputable, because to be completely honest I take that sort of stuff very seriously and I simply don't trust you so I can't give a blanket statement to others saying they should trust you.  That's not how this works.

But hey, let's (practically) blackmail a mod, that'll work, right?

Not blackmailing good sir. Well now the real reason comes out. You blamed me for stealing your clack because you didn't trust me yet you still deny saying that  ;D IF I'm so untrustworthy then why is there not a single moment wherein I've actually scammed or cheated someone in any way, shape, or form (Not including false allegations which were later proven wrong)? If anything you are actually the one lying by claiming you only sell artisan caps at retail when you clearly make anywhere from double to 5x the value of a cap.

P.S. a reaper cap from bro with an imperfection at the bottom isn't worth $500 and neither are the other two caps good sir which is why I didn't buy the three caps at $500 a piece.  :thumb:

Btw demik and Nubbinator you hate people selling over retail for profit because they ruin the community? Do you now hate Hoff for selling to make tons of profit privately? I bet not since he is a friend and your beliefs and opinions do not apply to friends and acquaintances.

Nope. I hate hypocrisy. You sat there and *****ed and moaned about people selling for profit. People buying at high prices while you did that **** in private. What type of two face ***** **** is that? For ****'s sake we are on the Internet and you still act like a punk? I'm not nubs, idgaf if people sell for profit. It's their item and if they find people stupid enough to pay for it, well congrats to them. I've sold **** for profit, don't care what anybody thinks.

I defended you when you cried about your transaction with dubs, but **** now I know that was worthless because you're extremely shady and untrustworthy.
Yes you defended me concerning the issue with dubs before but you also bashed me in public while basing your actions off of false accusations against me which were later proven to be wrong. I never *****ed about people selling for profit, I complained about people being so greedy thinking that they could get someone to offer more because they simply wanted more money. The issue with dubs was that he backed off a deal after we both agreed on it and I've already sold some of my items to get the cash at the time.

Slanderous? I was recording during keycon and I have a recording of you walking up to me in an attempt to sell me two bro caps at $100 each and insisting that you will only accept cash and you later changed your mind because I didn't have enough cash  (Who the heck carries large sums of cash anyway in this day and age of debit cards and bitcoins) stating that you can accept paypal. It's an audio recording but it does indeed exist so I suggest try not to lie next time. Do you still think it is a slanderous claim good sir Hoffman?  :thumb:

I don't hate the person, I hate the action.  People like you and 3love who come in, flash your money, refuse to shut up about your money, and who make a big deal about how much they paid to get their collections and so on are just as much part of the problem as those who jack up the prices to sell.

Hoff is his own man and he is free to do whatever he wants.  Whether or not there is any veracity to your claims, he had repeatedly shown himself to be someone who is polite, respectful, considerate of the community, and a genuine guy.  I respect him as such.  Remember, you can respect someone even if you don't agree with them on everything.

Also not sure why you dragged me in when I merely stated that people don't think you're a scammer, just ostentatious.

Anyways, this is way off topic and turned into a you hating on Hoff session instead of the topic of the keyboard.

All this drama could have been avoided, BTW, but you have a way of drawing it out.

I, as well as many others on GH, have been involved in countless trades.  People think you are shady, because only you have been involved with missing caps in packages on multiple occasions.  I know, you have videos.  But, when someone in your neighborhood continuously has cuts on their hands, while there are routine break-ins in the neighborhood, wouldn't you suspect them of being the culprit?

Idk how it could be someone in my neighborhood when USPS letter clearly stated it was like that when it arrived within our USPS facility which only means it occurred in transit before it even got to the truck that delivers to my house. I think that just because people only know of these as my trades doesn't mean they are the only ones I've done. I have hundreds of trades and purchases made but the only reason you don't hear about them is because most of the people I deal with want to remain anonymous though many of them are reputable members here in GH. How can someone in my neighborhood go in to the secure USPS facility the town before and open the packages before it even gets on to the delivery truck? That I'd like to know as well but clearly that isn't the case is it?

ITT: How to act like an insufferable snob, and lose the sympathy of others.

Protip: If a misunderstanding or problem has been cleared up; the best way to have it go away is to NOT bring it up again, and NOT point fingers. What's done is done and it's best to move on towards a better future.

Playing the victim card is just pathetic.

That I'd like to know as well but clearly that isn't the case is it?

xD

you are very smart, good sir ;- )

I don't see why this would be meant towards me.

Oh well, mods will delete this post also.
