Any bald boys on here got wigs?
« on: Thu, 08 February 2018, 14:54:48 »
I've been thinking about this. I'm not talking about a toupee or something trying to pretend you're not bald. I'm thinking like a range of different, very high quality wigs. A selection, in the same way you'd have a selection of shoes. Can wear one depending on your mood or whatever. I always liked having hair, and had long hair for much of my youth, but now I have a shaved head as it's apparently the only acceptable haircut to have once you've receded past a certain point. Well, I don't look bad with a skinhead but y'know, I do miss my hair.

Still rocking my hair, and I’m glad.

That being said, if you think about it, Wings can be a cool fashion statement no different than a hat, scarf, etc. not much different than coloring your hair either temporary or permanent.

Interested to see responses.

And actually, this was a cool response and one I was wondering if I'd see. I also notice you're a fellow colemak user so clearly you're an open minded renegade. I can relate.

oh I can't wait for many of the youngsters on here to hit late 30s / 40s...

I'm mah youth .. I wasn't even online, I was out every night and meeting more girls than one man should probably...  I had full head of long hair .. I could drink 5 nights a week and not gain a pound... now I look at a beer and gain 3lbs...

and then there is the hair.. in fairness I can't complain as my younger brother went bald in his mid 20s really.. but late 40s and while not "bald" I have a receding hairline..   I'll most likely just shave my head soon..  my wife keeps trying to talk me out of this approach ..but next yr or so.. I'm thinking just a really short / shaved head look is coming..

if ur mom's dad is bald you are basically F***ed..

About to turn 30, my bald spot just keeps becoming more and more pronounced. All of the men on my Dad's side have the bald crown that every hair growth commercial mocks, so I know where I'm headed ;).

I doubt I'll wear a wig though, I'd rather just be the old bald dude with nothing to hide

my younger brother went bald in his mid 20s really.. but late 40s and while not "bald" I have a receding hairline.

Baldness *patterns* in men are set in the mid-late-20s. How fast or slow you progress towards baldness can vary quite a bit, but your hairline probably started moving at about the same age as your borther's. Although I am in my 60s and both of my brothers are in their 50s, I have more hair than either of them. We each have receding hairlines and bald spots.

But while my bald spot appeared rather quickly at about age 27, it has not changed much since, and my hairline has been receding very slowly. I still have a thinner but moderate amount at the front, and people do not look at me as being "bald". It may help that my hair has always been light, and the difference in tone between my natural young color and gray is not great.

Both of my brothers' hairlines receded more aggressively, and one of them had much darker hair to begin with, so his is more pronounced.
"It turns out that for a decade, whenever Trump wanted to get a loan, or make a deal, he would inflate the value of his real estate. For instance, suggesting that his 11,000-square foot penthouse was a 30,000-square foot penthouse.
And the attorney general of New York knew that Trump's property values were inflated because when it came time to pay taxes, Trump undervalued the very same properties.
It was all part of a very sophisticated real estate practice known as “lying.”

Nutrition may be a major factor in baldness.

Just as Heart disease and diabetes are inherited..

That is rooted in the fact that we inherit the eating patterns of immediate parents/grandparents.

Yo-mama is phat and ate alot of steak,  YOU is phat and eat alot of steak.

They haven't studied baldness in the 100% veggie camp yet, because going cueball doesn't kill you like diabetes and heart-disease. -- Both disease has been thoroughly proven to arrest and reverse on a Plant-Based lifestyle-- @ 10% calories from fat.

But if you value your Hair and Appearance, and are intellegient enough to understand the significant advantage it brings in _work and life competition_..

Going 100% Veggie is worth considering.

Hai -Findecanor-

Given current data, Notably the Adventist Health study 1 and study 2, the largest comparative studies done on different dietary lifestyles, WHICH INCLUDES Ovo-Lacto vs 100% Plantbased.

Ovo-Lacto is not significantly better than General Meat consumption.

One of the major problem to the Lacto Part is Hormones and Antibiotics.

Cows are milked WHILE pregnant, this is done to reduce downtime.

As this is happening, the cow is secreting immense amount of animal estrogen and progestergen.

This has been proven to interfere with Human's own chemical signaling system, because many animal hormones work just as well in humans.

Milk is also one of the major contributors of Breast-Cancer due to its hormone disruption.

Eggs and Milk also contain a high amount of fat and cholesterol.  This leads to arteriosclerosis..

Studies have demonstrated that the Concentration of Blood Vessel growth in the Skin is KEY to healthy Hair.

Just as Eggs Bacon and Milk can clog MAJOR arteries,  they ALSO clog the Small ones.. SUCH as the periphery vessels of the skin.

This leads to mal-nutritive states of Hair follicles..

Erectile dysfunction, same thing,  it's an artery,  you eat fats/ cholesterol,  it clogs,  you get limp-wii

Hahahaha..

Let's look at it this way..

When EVERYONE was Smoking.. and Smoking related things were Everywhere,

It well looks like Everything is bad for you..

When Everyone is Eating Animal products,  and Every product contains Animal Derivatives.

IT LOOKS LIKE,    Everything,    Is bad for you..

So you see the problem ?

WE HAVE a Systemic Debilitation..

That's cool n all but, to be clear, my wig idea is intentionally distanced from the secret toupee of old. I'm saying, some days rock the Kojak, some days pick a wig out. Zero desire to hide it or fool anyone, just viewing it like a wardrobe option.

Do Women Find Bald Men More Attractive? (Psychology Today, Sept. 2017)

"...The researchers had one group of participants rate photos of men with full heads of hair, and another group rate the same men, but with their hair digitally removed... [The bald men] were rated as being:

• 13% more dominant
• 6% more confident
• 10% more masculine
• About an inch taller
• 13% stronger
• Nearly four years older"

So meh with the fake hair. Revel in your smooth-patedness.

What do peeps have to do to get that "Shine"

Does the shine come naturally, or do they gotta rub something on it.

I'm 35 and my hairs thinning slowly at the temples. Started on Regaine 6 months ago and hope it has some effect in slowing the tide hopefully.

People don't really wear wigs these days do they? Associate it more with 1970's TV presenters.

Grow some facial hair. Start pumping iron. Embrace it.

The longer you rock the bald look, the more natural it becomes to your face. Suck it up, shave it off and enjoy never going to a barber again.

Just 30 seconds ago, I chugged some brocolli, romaine lettuce, kale, celery, green apple, ginger and turmeric.

Also, lemon & cayenne.

Well, Juicing is a fine way to Get Veggies..

If possible, Tp4 recommend vitamix because the Fiber is good, whereas some juicers remove almost all the fiber pulp.
