I had a lot of fun with both versions of games for what they were. Sure D3 was over simplified too much imo, but they did a good job mending it into something significantly more playable than the original iteration.  I definitely hope they learned from their mistakes.

It was too little, too late for me. I don't think it should have ever been released in its vanilla version. Auto-allocated stats? Are you ****ing kidding me? Nevermind the stupid auction house and the accompanying dismal drop rates. The story and voice acting were also garbage with the exception of James Hong as Convetous Shen. Yes, I am a salty fan who misses Blizzard North. Oh, to think of what they could have accomplished had they never been dissolved.

No doubt; it was a terrible game at the time. I only went back to check it out muuuuuch later, being that it's one of the last decent dungeon crawler/looters. The VA didn't really concern me; as I just want the booty (loot).
