Speed up mouse movement beyond the limits in Mac OS X

I was looking the way to speed up my DT225 after I upgraded to 2560x1600 screen and I found this little gem:
http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/9091/mousezoom-x
After setting scale to 5 I can comfortably use this very low DPI trackball with big 30" screen. Isn't that cool?

I would rather go with 1:1 ratio (look this up for macs) then just turn up your DPI, so you don't skip pixels and of course make sure acceleration is off (look it up, idk how). Aka, for windows users, turn off enhance pointer precision.

Mate if I could turn up DPI on DT225 I wouldn't write about software speed ups. I'm thinking about putting laser sensor into it and I already tried with internals of 2 mice I had laying at home but neither of them (some mini A4Tech mouse and Crapple Mighty Mouse - the one with a clit thing on top) fits in DT225 case...
