Kailh Chocs vs Durock T1s

Hi all,

I know these are quite a day and night comparison but I am curious to know what you prefer and why. Especially I am curious between the differences in tactile feel between full MX vs low profile tactile switches. I have an old Filco with MX browns and am now designing a new portable, ergonomic and productive split keyboard with Kailh Choc robins.

I use linear choc on a choc spaced PCB

and T1 or T1 base on a few boards.

Why would you want choc?

Ah perfect! I am very curious to learn which you prefer, especially in terms of tactility in a 'productivity use case.

The reason I am opting for the chocs (robin) is that I am designing a new keyboard and trying to find the optimal balance between ergonomics, productivity and portability. The chocs (combined with MBK caps for the chocs and a 'no case design") result in less than half the board height compared to a MX design helping a lot in the 'portability' requirement.

I'd like to know, too. People rarely bring low-profile switches to meetups.

Does there exist a Kailh Choc switch that is as tactile as a T1 or MX Clear?
I have never seen one: only low-profile analogies of Red, Brown and Blue with different springs, although the blue one uses a click bar and not a click jacket.
