Does anyone have 2 Model M horizontal stabilizers that they don't need? I can't buy them from Unicomp since they have a $10 order minimum.

Does anyone have spare ALPS click/tactile leaves? I'm getting an orange Alps Apple M0116 and would like to try click modding it, but I don't want to break the original leaves. White alps click leaves would be dope.

how many do you need? i still have some from blues, about 3-5 as spares. i can send them to you if these are enough for a tester. if you need more, i have a lot of clones that are virtually identical, as far as i can tell, to alp's click leaves.

I'm looking for a down arrow key and print screen key for a Corsair k65 Lux RGB keyboard. I'd prefer not to buy a whole set if possible, so am looking for stock keys. Or to replace all 13 of the right side keys.

Have you tried to get in touch with Corsair to see what they can do?  I once got a free logitech trackman ball for one that was misplaced just by calling.  :thumb:

That is an awesome throwback...Wish I could find mine, but it is lost somewhere in my moms house and she has no idea where it could be. So I may have to go hunting for it again soon.

Free: Kinesis Classic Qwerty/Dvorak PS/2, white - refurbished - KB133PC/QD(R)

I've retired my trusty workhorse of ~13 years (moved on to a KB500) and now it's collecting dust.

Still works. The white casing plastic is yellowing with age. Fair amount of wear on the key labels. Labels are completely gone on Esc, F3, F4, F5, and right Ctrl. Key switches have a brown post so I believe they're Cherry MX Brown.

Complete in box:
* all original packaging (box, bag, interior cardboard, styrofoam pad)
* original user's manual
* Kinesis Corporation Retail Price List sheet, circa 2002
* Kinesis keyboard tutorial v1.0 for Win95 / Win98 / NT4.0 on 3.5 floppy

Free to a good home for the cost of covering shipping, which USPS estimates to be $13.50 via Priority Mail. Thank you.

Mmm, anyone interested in getting VE Monk Plus earbuds?

I have a pair with the expansion pack and don't really need them. Could ship someone a pair if you pay shipping (<$5). I know there cheap from the shop as is but I'm from EU and shipping within EU would be quicker.

Looking for switches!

I'm new to the sub and have my first custom build kit coming in at the end of the month. I'm looking too try all kinds of different switches. I think I might be a tactile guy but I really want to try different linear and clicky switches to see what I want on my board.

I'd cover shipping to FL of course!

Hi,
I am looking for a 7u Alps mount spacebar and the stab wire that goes with it. I am ready to pay for it and also cover shipping. Looking to build a custom board with some keycaps I have which are missing the spacebar. If someone has one to spare, please let me know.

To learn the basics of soldering, almost any circuit board will do.  Say, from an old DVD player, old TV, even an old radio.

There's also this thread that might provide you with additional relevant information.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I have a big bag o' Model M keycaps that I'm happy to give to someone for the price of shipping.  This is the detritus of my long-term project to create the ultimate Space Cadet keyboard from a bunch of junker Model Ms that have trickled my way.

187096-0

PM me if you're interested.

Shipping to CONUS will be in the $10-15 range.  Outside of CONUS, let's take it on a case-by-case basis.

Thanks.

Hi all. I'm looking to convert my 1992 Model M SSK from ANSI to UK ISO; does anyone have some spare original UK keycaps, plus 1 hammer? I'll pay shipping of course. Thank you in advance. The font appears slightly wider/thicker than most Model M keyboards I'm seeing, so it might be the older years I need. Still, thanks for looking. I'd certainly pay it forward.

Hi does anyone have a CM Quickfire Rapid TKL keyboard controller? I misplaced mine.

If you have a bathroom epiphanies compatible controller, I'll be glad to pay for it also, but I'm not looking to pay full price. I just need a stock keyboard controller otherwise my poor CM can't be used.

Total shot in the dark, but before I go looking of CL and eBay for something potentially unreliable does anyone have any monitors laying around they want to get rid of? My 2nd monitor burnt out last week, and as I'm unemployed atm I can't be buying new monitors right now. Just looking for anything at least 1920x1080, don't care what size.

I will absolutely pay and shipping costs, maybe PP some cash your way too.

Perhaps I should just make a Classifieds WTB post.

I'm sure your system has dual outputs from the video card and if so, check out your local goodwill as they'll usually have 1280x1024 or better panels that you can test out for $5 including cables.  It might not be an ideal setup, but it should get you by for now.

Alternatively, there's some 1920x1080 monitors that are essentially new with a warranty in the cdw outlet and provantage open box around the $50-60 mark, but then add about $20 for shipping.

Anyone has a Matias Tactile Pro controller or a Matias Tactile pro that he wants to dump because of their bad-key problems? I'm trying to salvage my friend's kb on the cheap...  :p It had no bad keys prior to the controller dying!

If you're interested in buying, let me know. I can create an ownership photo and put it in the classifieds. But I'm not CONUS so not really worth shipping an iffy board internationally.

I really wish Duck made a v2 of this layout though, that way I could actually get a goddamn pcb for this

Anybody has a Filco fullsize keyboard PCB that he no longer wants?

I got taken for a ride by someone who sold me a dead Filco. The PCB was in such bad shape, with many lifted pads done by botched repairs, and bridging cables all over the place. It was totally dead, so now I've desoldered the switches and thrown away the PCB.

So my next task is to either find a 104-key PCB that fits the Filco casing, or get a Filco PCB from someone who rebuilt his keyboard and no longer needs a Filco PCB. Hoping someone as a spare fullsize Filco PCB!

Anyway this puts paid to the notion that Filco is that good. No matter how good a keyboard is it can never survive a bad modder.  >:D

Hello all!

I have a CM Storm Quickfire Stealth ( http://www.coolermaster.com/peripheral/keyboards/stealth/ ) with Green cherry switches that I used for a few years. The W key went wonky, and rather than figure out how to fix it, I used it as an excuse to go shopping for a new keyboard.

Point being, this green cherry board is free to a good home, to the first person to email me at bwappo at gmail dot com. I rarely visit these boards (once every several months), but I remain eternally grateful for the tremendous amount I learned from this community that got me started on the road to keyboarding heaven.

Thank you!

I have three of these (two new, one never used but open) that I got from Japan. Was hoping to resell them and make a couple dollars but apparently no one wants them since they've been sitting on eBay for awhile. Free to anyone who pays shipping ($3 or so in the US, $10 or so outside the US). In case you are wondering they are keyboard covers to keep out dust, spills, etc.

LOL I was hoping that these would catch on with the "younger" crowd (i.e. the people who mainly browse r/mk) but that hasn't happened as planned.  :-X
