Hi,

Edited (July 10th):
Preorder opens at https://www.velocifiretech.com/product/dumang-dk6-ergo-v2/

Things we changed from IC

1. Added a 88 - key package
2. Added ergo thumb keys
3. Lower price as most as possible (coz 50% of not sure is about budget, we hope to get more people try it with the best price) and work out a free shipping price for this preorder stage.
4. Added video
5. Added software instruction

.................................

Currently Velocifire is working with Dumang team for a Lego-like Ergonomic Split MK DK6 Ergo V2. The main purpose for making this keyboard is to break the limit of layouts so that we can enjoy our own comfortable ergo keyboard without asking or waiting for someone else to make it. Because you can just rearrange keys as easily as playing Lego. We are at our final steps for pre-order, and would like to hear your requirement during IC period, so that we can work out the best adjustable solution for you in GB. Pls fill in this  IC form to tell us your need or join our discord server for discussion.

Main Features:
#Unlimited layout, each key has built-in MCU to communicate with the PC via the baseboard independently.
#10 times faster than traditional keyboards
# User friendly custom software to ramap keys, set RGB backlit, macros for 4 layers.

Why it's faster?
It has Unique co-processor with patented dynamic debounce technology plus 32bit ARM 70MHz main control chip to ensure every demand on every key can be handled in 1 ms, no double or missed key register. When traditional keyboards normally use 8bit ARM 16MHz alone, they will need 20 ms to handle debounce delay. Even worse, some keyboards just shorten the necessary 20 ms without debounce tech, when switches get ageing, double or missed click will happen frequently. You can see how fast the keys are scanned by the software and how quickly they react to software demand in the video too.

Other Specifications:
Baseboard: Aluminum alloy
 Type-C, Wired, RGB,Dumang SoftwareKeyboard
 Angle: different adjustable degrees
Provided switches: Cherry/Kailh hotswap switches
Default Keycaps: ABS white/black/blue/grey

What's in the box:
one or two baseboards depends on how many switches you want
necessary accessories

Price:
Approximately US$120 - US$350 depends in how many keys you need.
Pre-order Open: estimate July 7, 2020 – July 21, 2020.
Estimated Delivery: First 30 keyboards will be delivered within 1 month Pre-order ends, and the rest after will be 0.5-1 months later.

We are at our final steps for pre-order, and would like to hear your requirement during IC period, so that we can work out the best adjustable solution for you in GB. Pls fill in this  IC form to tell us your need or join our discord server for discussion.

This seems very cool.  My only concern is if we want to use longer keys, is that going to be possible?  I'm only seeing 1 and like a 1.5 sized key

Amazing concept. I'd buy if it worked with QMK.

Amazing concept. I'd buy if it worked with QMK.

Since it's more complicated than normal keyboards, it's really difficult to make it work with QMK now.

Go with the original name imo- "Drug Kingpin", just rolls off the tongue.

For real though, what has actually changed between this and the already available DK6 Ergo? They look identical and the photos/description you've provided seem to be of the v1

And finally a pretty good review of this product.

Yup, other versions are also there. But If you want an Ergo, really recommend to get the V2 from us since it's more decent with Silver Alu baseboard and Type-c, and we are official partners with the team.

This is super flexible when it's uneasy to find a favourite layout.
