Sup, as some of you may know, I like Death Metal, one thing I love about this particularly vile genre of music is the band logos and art work. I have always wanted to make one, but I am not in a band, so I decided to make a death metal style logo from my online alias. I think it turned out pretty badass, let me know what you think.

Hehe, I was going to ask you where you got that inspiration from. I just say metal because there's too many sub-genre's I'm into. Death metal is definitely one of them :P

One of my favorite bands is The Black Dahlia Murder. I love how their logo looks, maybe you could make another mockup based on their logo?

I love TBDM, one of my favourite modern Death Metal bands. Into the Everblack is a damn good record.

I am going to be doing more logos like this, just in my spare time. I really want to get into trying to do some album artwork, but doing it with a mouse is a nightmare, I may have to get a Wacom tablet when I get some more spare cash. I love my band t-shirts, I have loads. Job for a Cowboy artwork is amazing.

Why didn't you post in that Metal Shirt thread I made specifically for flynn?? I have a billion shirts too. THAT'S a collection, forget keyboards lol. I should really post a thread just of my t-shirts :P

Into Everblack has been on rotation in my car/at work since I snagged it. The six six six chant during Goat of Departure? Amazing. I wanna see them again so bad just to be in the crowd during that song. But my favorite song by them is Deathmask Divine :D

JFAC's logo is awesome too. And I'm looking forward to seeing what else you come up with.

Indeed, it is still far too legible... one of my all time favorites...


I used to do a lot of logo design, album art type work when I was doing graphics. Never did do a metal logo on the computer. Always designed on paper with ink using calligraphy pens, then scanned in. I always thought it was way too much effort to try and get that kind of flow you get from pen and ink on the computer, almost impossible for me to design there.

I love the illegible logos, its just massive two fingers up to other types of music, in my opinion.

This is only my first, I plan on making some horrible ones that are totally illegible, again, just for lols.

I'm super happy with how this one turned out though  ;D
