Great player but I don't think his fantasy production is going to be great thus year, Crabtree is healthy again and the rest of the receiving corp looks great so he's probably not going to get as many touches as last year.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

So did everyone see their draft recaps yet?

Picking seventh overall in the opening round, bueller's BroBots had a decent showing and built a team capable of making the playoffs. They added some running backs early, using three of their first five picks on ball-carriers. At another spot in the lineup, bueller's BroBots was able to secure one of the best foursomes of wide receivers in the league.

Yeah booiiiiii :)

"Following the ninth overall pick in the draft, hwood's HiTek Hitters is forecasted to finish eighth in Geekhack Official. They're intent on proving the talking heads wrong, however. They stocked up on pass-catching weapons early, using three of their first five selections to pick up wide receivers. In conjunction with that drafting strategy, hwood's HiTek Hitters ended up with the most prolific foursome of wide receivers in the league"

I'd like to respectfully disagree, let's just see how the season goes ;)

Let's hope the 'Niners do well again this season, demik. I have both Crabtree and Gore, with Kaepernick as my backup QB. :)

WITH SOME CRAFTY DRAFTING, HHKBROWNS HOPES TO FACTOR INTO THE PLAYOFF PICTURE

Draft Grade
B
Proj Record
7-7
Proj Finish
5

DRAFT SUMMARY
HHKBrowns parlayed a good draft slot into a respectable performance. They went after quarterbacks early, using two of their first four picks on signal callers. Going hand-in-hand with that early investment, HHKBrowns secured one of the most prolific combos of quarterbacks in the league.

Taking Tony Romo with the 37th overall pick, was perhaps a stretch. His ADP was 99.8 across all NFL.com leagues.

HHKBrowns got off to a sizzling start, amassing the most projected points in the league during the first half of the draft.
Hunting for deals throughout the draft, four ADP-based steals were snatched up (including Greg Olsen, the Cardinals Defense, and the Chiefs Defense).

I'll show them!!

"Best combo of TEs in the league"

Julius Thomas and Zach Ertz? I guess... I love how it starts out really negative, even though I got probably the best W/R in the league and the #1 ranked defence, and then goes and says how my ~#12 TEs are amazing...

Draft Grade: A
Proj Record: 10-4
Proj Finish: T2

"Hoff Measures handled the sixth overall pick in the draft well, assembling a team that's capable of doing some serious damage this season. They jumped on ball-carriers early and often, taking running backs with each of their first three picks. That early positional investment helped to yield the best foursome of running backs in the league."

I'm projected to finish 9th. I suck.

Funny that kat and I were the first two in draft order and predicted to take the last two spots in the league. I've always done better with mid-round picks, but still... when have projections EVER been accurate on these things? Also, in a very pass-happy league, these FFL sites still value RBs over everything.

See you on the field, *****es. We'll see about those "draft grades" then!

TBF, if you base all decisions for this sort of stuff purely on statistics rather than gut feel, you're usually better off.
I won my only March Madness bracket competition I entered (small pool of entries, nothing huge) by picking "boring" picks.  Trying to pick upsets and picking your favourite teams isn't a good strategy IMO.  Also, I know nothing about college basketball, that's why I picked purely by statistics.

Oh and also, I wouldn't put much stock in this predictor thing...  ;)

That's what I tried to do in my other league, pick the guys with the longer sample size rather than guys who've only been around a year or so.

YESSSS. Picked up Josh Gordon.

This might seem crazy but considering how long the NFL is taking to make their mind up I don't think they have a very strong case. I'll be very surprised if he gets more than an 8 game suspension, and if they take much longer he may be able to delay the trial till next season.

Oh and for those that aren't aware, Gordon and Demaryius Thomas were the top two receivers last year. And I have both of them :P

I fell off for a bit, so I'm with Hoffman in the auto-draft sub-league  :thumb: Pretty happy with my auto-drafted team to be honest, probably turned out better than it would have if I actually drafted, aside from Rivers.

Will turn it around now that it's game time! Who's "Moar Boost"?

It is boost, the man, the legend. He was a very active member for a while (and a moderator), but has recently been more interested in other things. He still checks the forums and participates in buys / the hobby.

So how come you dropped Boldin Hwood?

And I have no idea when the games will actually start but I'm guessing week one...
One week to go my friend! This is the last week of pre-season :)
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

eh, he's old, and the 49ers have a great receiving core, healthy this year so he's going to be getting a lot less touches.

I guess, I went to pick him up myself, but his predicted points are a good 20-30 points below all my WRs I've got right now
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I just attempted a waiver but it hasn't gone through. What do you guys have to do before you swapped players out?

It takes a certain amount of time before you actually get the player. So if someone has higher priority on waivers than you do, they get the player instead. You're 7th, so pretty low

He'll probably get it passed though, the waivers have been pretty quiet.

Also, whoever has the 49ers defence may be worried... DL Ray McDonald has just been arrested on domestic violence charges.

Were you below me in priority then?

Also, whoever has Gronk (I think someone auto drafted him?) you are seriously lucky. He is starting week one.

Hah, maybe. But you could maybe get 190 points out of him week one then bench him. Gives me even more hope for Tom Brady's numbers for at least a week as well :D
