I made reddit thread for the mod, actually, see here:

Basically, I opened up the PS/2 end of one of these PS/2 -> USB convertors from this GB (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=40549.0) and soldered it to the appropriate wires coming from the PAC board. The imgur album link @ reddit should be pretty helpful.
