We shall proceed with a picture:

As you can see, the brows and forehead have these greenish stains on them... Just bought this new and according to the seller, the cap was like this when he received it from the source (Clickclack).

Is this typical to these skull keys, any ideas how to go about cleaning it? The first idea was to try some alcohol on it, but then again this cap came with a substantial enough pricetag for me to proceed with caution.

Thanks for any help/ideas that shall (hopefully) be forthcoming.

You could try a denture cleaning tab...

you could try denture cleaning tabs, they usually are pretty safe when it comes to plastics.

Ok so it seems we have found something of a consensus then. So you guys say it's worth hanging on to it, the denture tab is likely to get him good and clean again? The seller would be cool with giving a refund but I'm not feelin' it (as I really want to have one).

The thing is, I don't have the key with me now, instead it was ordered and paid for by my gf whom I shall meet next week... So can't really try any remedies either until that time.
