nevermind. I found my answer elsewhere on the site. It was not clear whether the current model up on their website was the proposed and then abandoned buckling spring version. Apparently it's not.
If it's not ALPS it's crap!

That being said, the current "mighty mouse" keyboard (aka the IBM M4 and M4-1) is pretty nice.  If you like crisp, short-throw keys, you'd like these keyboards.  As I've described before, they us a "buckling rubber sleeve" that feels pretty good (like old school Thinkpad keyboards).

has anyone spoken to unicomp about whether the mighty mouse *with* pointing stick will be available again? i've been looking for a smallish keyboard with an integrated pointing device for the box i keep in the closet.
