Hi Guys-
That's basically what I'm looking for. A black, 10 keyless board with clicky keys. My main board is currently a Deck 82 key that's 12" wide. With a little work I managed to get the tilde/command keys mapped correctly, and I've been pretty happy with it for the last couple of years, but I am tiring of the cherry black linear switches and high keys. Right now I'm typing on an old Micro Connectors board with clicky Alps keys and, apart from the number pad being in the way, I'm loving it.
I'm looking at the following boards:
Happy Hacking Keyboard Pro 2:
Pros:
Small
Black
Clicky
Cons:
$$$$
Seriously the price is beyond absurd.
Filco 10 Keyless:
Pros:
Small(ish)
Black
Clicky
Cons:
Maybe I'd prefer cherry blues?
Still a little wide for my tastes
Deck 82 Key (what I currently have):
Pros:
nice size, cool looking with the red led back lights
Cons:
Needs a bit of tweaking to get it mac compatible
Black Linear switches are tiring
Have to buy and extra black casing to get it to look even remotely professional and not like something a 12 yr old game pimp would use.
DSI Modular Mac Keyboard
Pros:
Mac compatible
Perfect layout
Clicky
Cons:
White
Maybe I can dye it black??
SMK88
Pros:
Even better layout
Cons:
Which switches? Blue, Black, Brown, Alps? It's unclear to me
Also white, would need to be dyed
So my question for you all is, am I missing any boards that I should be looking at?
Thanks
