Designing a spacebar, what profile should I make it?
« on: Fri, 10 October 2014, 13:11:53 »
I am working on designing my own spacebar, and I was wondering what profile I should make it if I want to be able to use it in combination with different keycap sets of various profiles.

Make it whatever shape you prefer! This is a question of personal preference, and there’s no a priori right answer. What shape is comfortable depends somewhat on how you hold your hands and where you position your keyboard relative to your body. I recommend avoiding sharp corners, like the ones on most spacebars for cylindrical keycap sets.
