Bigfoot IBM Model M?

Posting this keyboard because it I found it really interesting that the label in the back says it's a model M but it looks exactly like a model F XT bigfoot.

The label in the back also says

"This Keyboard may have been converted from another part number."
and is dated 02/21/00
Which leads me to believe they may have just been trying to get rid of already manufactured parts.

I can't remember the post where this happened, but at some point it was discovered that some Bigfoot XT boards were mislabeled as Model M. It was theorized that it was due to servicing and re-labeling the board. There certainly weren't any XT Bigfoot in production in February of 2000 like the date claims.

It's 100% a Model F

If you examine the label:





...you'll see the keeb went through the hands of a third party, which even claimed it was their "product"—so who knows where the label came from?

Model Fs don't have labels like these, so I'm guessing this system configurator, or whoever they were, made their own IBM-style labels to stick on so they could include their own name, and didn't bother getting the model right—probably because most of the keebs they provided were Ms at that time.

Indeed. Parak's linked board has the Lexmark style label. This one doesn't match any IBM/Lexmark style. And some Model F did have barcode labels like on the 122's. Some Bigfoot XT do seem to have that style as well, although most seem to be unlabeled like a normal PC-XT board. The linked Bigfoot XT label even has the same part number (4176191) and a more plausible manufacture date (1984):

But no F's had labels like this one the OP posted. It was just a lazy OEM.
