Finally decided to join the ranks of Geekhack after pondering if I have enough money to pour into another expensive hobby.
The final frontier after having fountain pens and quality headphones.

I am expecting the parts for making a 60% board in the next couple weeks, and just backed the Kira on KS.

Welcome. As with most hobbies, it doesn't have to be needlessly expensive, it's just how much you want to pour into it. I've certainly spent thousands over the years but most of that can be recouped by simply selling what I already have.
