Hello, my name is william, the question is: I have a razer blackwidow 2013 and razer-blackwidow-tournament-edition-chroma-v2, i think the chroma v2 keycap is way way better, an exc keyboard, the 2013, the keycap is not that smooth... I was seeing a filco majestouch 2 and this is my question > do the filco majestouch 2 have a good feeling when touching the keycap, like smooth as the chroma v2 (!i not talking about the switch please, just the keycap), cause the last razer chroma v2 is very soft?

The stock keycaps on all Filco keyboards are crap. They're fairly smooth, but they're very thin pad-printed ABS keycaps, and they'll wear down in no time. I think most people buy Filcos because they're well made and they use a standard 104-key layout, so there are tons of options for aftermarket keycaps. Don't buy one for the stock keycaps or else you'll be disappointed.

Yes, I agree with this, but it might not be obvious to the OP that the standard layout is the important point here. This means a wealth of aftermarket keycap options. And to be fair to Filco, I've tried Razor boards, and would not be shocked if you preferred the Filco caps. I have 2 Majestitouch 2's, and I don't think you'll be disappointed with one with the right switches for you and some good aftermarket PBT or thick ABS caps.

This.
Filco caps are bad because the legends wear off, but otherwise they are just normal ABS caps.
The same cannot be said for the Razer caps, when they wear the legends get wiped off and you get light shining through, and then there is the feel, which is horrible. At least on my Razer keyboard, which admittedly is quite an old model, but I don't think it has changed.

Honestly i think they are both garabage but if i had to choose i like Filco more :p. But i always change my key caps for some double shot ABS cherry profile caps.
