Title: Best IBM Model F
Post by: filcomanfilthy on Thu, 11 April 2019, 10:23:19
I am wondering which model F i should get if i am purely looking for quality and have an unlimited budget. I am fine with using older models that would require an adapter.

Quality is hard to define. A majority of people think that the XT has the best feel, but the layout is abominable.

Others would attribute the highest quality to the metal cases of the 4700 line.

Personally, I would vote for an ANSI-modded 122-key terminal if you can take a large keyboard or an ANSI-modded (including Alt keys) AT if you want a small one.
