Any coffee heads in here? I have a breville barista express. Not top of the line for sure but makes a good espresso.
Been recently getting beans from a place called Seven Virtues out of portland, OR.
Favorite drink right now is a wet cappuccino.

Mmmmm coffee good.
Living in the Seattle area there's an almost endless source of single-source small-batch artisan roasters at competitive prices. It's good to be here if you enjoy a cup of joe. I like my coffee light, fruity, and acidic. None of that dark, burnt, velvety, chocolate ****.
Zoka and Elm City are both consistently excellent.
and hey, if you wanna try Elm City they deliver and you can save $5 or something using a referral:

I agree, all the dark burnt junk that just tastes like carbon is gross (looking at you starbucks!)
I love all the small batch artisans around in the PNW, but man with shipping it aint cheap. $20 or so for a 12oz is painful on the old wallet. I have a nice local place though that has the goods. I am in Southern Oregon so not nearly as hip as portland.

There's a lot of Oregon produced stuff in the Seattle area, you guys have the same amazing climate for making and growing really good food. Hell, even the local Safeway has some fantastic Oregon-made beers, wines, hot sauces, and coffee. The food available in the PNW is almost unmatched anywhere else in the US.

I'm a hopeless coffee junkie--love everything about it. And even though I buy the good stuff, I'll drink whatever. Also, anyone tried putting a pinch of salt in their coffee? Just learned that it reduces the bitterness.

I made a coffee powder once and added it to some avocado w/ pinch of salt.
Good bagel spread.
