I started reading and was like god damn do we need another pink themed gmk set and then by the end of the OP I needed to have it. My daughter saw me looking at it as well so that sealed the deal.

I would say I prefer the pink in the 910 and TKL renders, seems a little more muted and less hot - but I'm happy to go with whatever you decide of course, it's your set and your vision.

It's pretty difficult to show the exact pink digitally, the first three renders were a bit too saturated compared to my swatch, I've slightly desaturated those and replaced the images. Hopefully if all goes well and I have plastic samples, I'll have a better comparison.

Love the colours, definitely do not love the text only mods. It's by far my least favourite iteration, icon text, Cherry icons and icon only are honestly all better for almost every set.

Thanks for all the feedback about your preferences for modifier legends, I've added a section for that in my IC form as well so please "vote" there! Personally I prefer text only mod because it's more consistent and minimal but I wouldn't mind icon+text if that wins.

Received a lot of responses regarding modifier legends today and based on those I've decided to go with Icon + text mods with an all text bottom row (like GMK WoB), thanks to everyone who filled out the form!

Also I'll reach out to Rama Works to see if they'd be open to work on a matching artisan for this set.

Hi friends, I have some news, Novelkeys has agreed to run the groupbuy for this set but it won't be for awhile (Jan 2020), in the meantime I'll work on finalizing the layouts, getting more renders, and figuring out deskmat and Rama artisan designs.

IMHO this set works better without novelties - the cleanness of the single background colour/text colour is what sets it apart from other GMK colourways (pun intended).

But of course there is still no harm in running novelties, as long as the normal caps are present :)

My thoughts as well, a simple keyset along the lines of Minimal and Striker. Still thinking about what exact color accents to include if any though.

Hey friends, I need some help with this 40s/split/ortho kit, are there any keys that are missing or don't need to be in here?

Edit: looked a bunch of other sets being run and added 2u shift for Cod67 and similar layouts, I see GMK Cafe has a 1.75u backspace and 1.25u/1.5u enter but couldn't find any layouts that needed those. Thinking this looks pretty good as is unless someone mentions otherwise!

It's a shame we switched away from full text mods. It definitely fits the minimal aesthetic better. Mixed mods look too cluttered. Would rather we commit to one than go for a "worst of both worlds" solution.

I'm pretty sure the approval of the GB thread is pending the approval of a mod. It's already live with the GB vendors.
