Title: CE/1 CAD Macropad
Post by: ChaoticEngineering on Mon, 06 May 2019, 19:29:08
Heyo, just wanted to get some criticism on a little project I am working on. This is a macro pad designed solely for CAD workflow, but I imagine anyone could use it for gaming or any other sort of workflow that would benefit from a programmable external device.

I mean, it's half of an Ergodox. I doubt anyone can give you serious critics here as split keyboard is not that rare of a thing these days.

Sure, if you have a need for it, go for it.

IMHO, left side  column should be left alone , if more keys are needed TOP rows could be added.

The reason is tented, You want the left side to drop as low as possible.

There's no reason to make only 1 side.

The thumb cluster is fine as is,  But to address some of the newbies, a closer thumb button should exist between that current blank space.
