Hitachi, RM-6013UD, Circa, 1987-1991ish
Swapped in dat Fujitsu bat. Still Fully Jpn
Original cell's horribly corroded.
On/Off switch damaged, had to cut, and sand the conducting plates. Applied dielectric grease to conductor in lieu of re-plating. which isn't possible without destroying the mounting.
Dis' shaver is an early model, not water tight. not washable. It has 110 and 220 compatibility via resistor switch.
Integrated Transformer, this is probably bad for the battery, because it makes the whole cavity HOT. External power brick would greatly extend the life of the Bat.
Case has a small vanity mirror.

Holy **** does that thing double as a dictation machine. I personally have modern electric shaver that is waterproof. My wife bought it for me and I didn't use it for about 3 years. Then my wife started shaving her legs with it and I got jealous so I took it back and started using it. My wife bought me one of those Bluetooth speakers for my birthday, I didn't use it so she started taking it to work. I got jealous and wanted it back but she speaker blocked me and would not give it back.
Jokes on her though, cuz tp going'a start a fire with his vintage electric dictation shaver.

How does one use an electric razor? I've never been able to shave with one to any effect. If my hair is long, it does nothing but get caught in my hair, and, if it's short, it doesn't get close enough to do anything except maybe burn me or yank a hair. I always have to use hair clippers if it's more than a couple weeks long and then a safety razor to finish it off.
My dad had a bunch of old razors like this one though. Not sure how he was able to use them effectively.

It depends on the type of facial hair you've got.
If you got the dense curly kind, You need the type that has a center cutting area similar to Hair-clippers.
For a closer shave with electric, in my xp, I get a closer shave after my skin has dried. whereas it doesn't shave as close when wet.
