Title: Light mode>Dark Mode
Post by: Sintpinty on Sat, 11 May 2019, 21:26:56
I know how the message says:
Are your eyes bleeding? You can always change the theme

Actually, Dark theme makes my eyes get strain. I prefer the light mode of geekhack because dark mode is just... too much.

I actually like the brown and white, and prefer reddit and twitter light mode as well.

And people say : What is wrong with you? Light mode bad.

Stop hating on light theme.

I asked use dark mode. I prefer the look of it, so that's why I keep it even at daytime.
But man, some apps and websites do have a hhhhhhhhhhhideous dark mode. Right, Windows?

I did light mode for a while. I liked it. But I now do dark mode for most things. My eyes are pleased and so am I.

The problem I have with browsers on Windows is they've mostly dropped GDI text rendering in favor of DirectWrite, so the more pleasant rendering of MacType can't affect it, leading to eye strain (moreso on light themes).
