Hey guys,
Have you ever punished yourself by typing on a crappy keyboard just to remind yourself of how superior your better keebs really are? Out of laziness today and because I didn't feel like getting up, I typed for much of the day on my godawful MacBook Air keyboard, and this one was on the 2017/2018 version I believe, and it felt like pounding on a pile of tough bricks. After thirty minutes, my right index finger was already tingling a bit, and it was a pretty miserable experience. I hadn't even used this keyboard that much at all, and it had a small bit of wear on the period key.
Made me switch right back to my HHKB, and the difference is like night and day. How about you?

Frick the macbook air keyboard.
I do not punish myself, i am forced to use awful keyboards for school. I am planning to get a 60% possibly on amazon with Cherry Blues to fit my new keycaps. HP KU 0316 and Logitech K100(U stands for Unbelivable pain in HP KU 0316)
Most of the time, i do not use mechanical keyboards when typing. I instead use this as my main:
Logitech Multimedia Keyboard Clavier Media. It works , but i make frequent typos on it.
You can count my slim folio on there as well.

Sometimes I'll try out a crappy keyboard just to see if I'm really being an insufferable keyboard snob, and then I'm reminded why I have the keyboards I do. ;D

I'll try out one, and then be like nope :-X and get away from it.
Slowly back away

This is like asking "have you ever pounded your head repeatedly into a brick wall, just to remind yourself how nice it feels to stop pounding your head against a brick wall?"
I don't even think that normal keyboards are all that terrible, but why use them if you have a better option?
Every once in a while I'll try out another stock MX board to remind myself why I don't like reds or blues, but only for a handful of seconds. I won't force myself to use one for an hour.

Watched a movie on a uncalibrated monitor the other day..
Would never recommend it to anyone, It's absolutely terrible. Can't believe people pay $1000 bux for that kind of experience.
Felt so disoriented , it made me nauseous.
Similar to that time I ran track in regular sneakers instead of track shoes, Almost fell over from the balance difference.

ps you can quote multiple replies by just pressing quote button. No need to make separate replies, unless you are farming posts i guess keep doing what you are doing.

My backup keyboard is of the common rubber dome variety for the moment. Every time I clean the keys on my main board I have to use the backup--wish I didn't have to clean the keys.
