I am not really an expert on this thing, so possibly 🤥

I might see what "creamios" is

Novelkeys Cream switches or Geekmaker Cream switches probably mixed in with zealios
-
Based on sound only, SKCM Alps.

Lubed topre with Purple silent sliders...
Or... Linear on brass is nice. I am also really enjoying linear on PC.

Nailed it. Long Kailh cream stems in zeal housings. Lubed of course.

So this is the other way around how I thought. Cream stems in zealios housing.

Yep! The longer Kailh stem taps the bottom of the switch housing as you type!

Alps SKCM/SKCL, nothing else even comes close :D .

me too, chyros
-
Skcm damped cream is my favourite sounding switch . Not even close to my favourite feeling switch , unfortunately
-
Any alps SKCM/L (Including the damped ones), Alps SKCP, capacitive / membrane buckling springs, box thick clicks, holy pandas, topre, etc.
There are so many good sounding switches that it's hard to choose between them. But I guess out of all of those nothing compares to SKCM. As Chyros has said, they are the "motherf***ing Beethoven" of mechanical switch designs.
-
1. Topre
2. Alps
3. Lubed linear Gateron switches.
-

Clicky alps and Topre please me the most.
-
Silenced Topre with SA caps and lately Tealios v2, with ABS cherry keycaps set.
Don't know how brass plate can affect the sound, but I've ordered KBDFANS8X Mk2 with brass plate and will install Tealios on it and will see if that can sound even better.

I love the sound of my hypersphered and krytoxed hhkb bt.

It's a silencing method for Topre. Basically identical to Kbdfans' Silence X rings.
-
Favorite sound is Cherry MX Green. But favorite to type on / use daily. Topre Silenced Variable. 35/45
-
Yep! The longer Kailh stem taps the bottom of the switch housing as you type!
Thought only Kailh Pro have the longer stem. Creams have 4mm travel in contrast to kailh pro with 3.6mm.
Are you sure that the Cream stems are longer or could you compare them to Kail Pro stems?
-
I only use MX-type switches and so far I like Kailh BOX Clicky switches best (Pink, Jade and Navy, others not so much). I also like Zealio v2 sound but it's a bit too loud for tactile switch in my opinion.
-
Linear: Creamios
Tactile: Topre
All lubed of course.
-
Usually when you're typing, does it sound more crisp and clean on a mic or actually seeing you type in person?
-
In my experience, the keycaps, case, and plate play a huge role in the sound a switch makes while typing. I have a YD68 with aluminum plate in an aluminum Tofu case with Aliaz switches and PMK PBT SA Ice Caps and the sound is *divine*. The switches themselves are quite silent, but the other parts in combination make for a soft, clean popping sound that is addictive. I tried to replicate this on a different aluminum case (enameled), with an aluminum plate and the same switches and keycaps, but it didn't sound nearly as nice. And if I put those same switches/keycaps on my Preonic in a wood case, they sound even worse.
P.S. My HHKB with Silence-X rings is my favorite typing sound though.
-
In order: SKCM Alps, lubed Holy Pandas, silenced Topre, Zilents v1, lubed Box Blacks, lubed Cherry Blacks
-
I love my Topres, but my favorite sound has to be buckling spring. Mostly my Model F, but I love my Model M also.
-
Sound wise, the Khail Box Pale Blue are quite nice. Love the Gateron Ink and Novelkey Cream too.
-
Lubed topre with Purple silent sliders...
Or... Linear on brass is nice. I am also really enjoying linear on PC.
Always wanted to do purple sliders... Never got round to it.
Linears in polycarbonate is super nice too, especially if 5mm.

What does "dome with slider" or other things mean?

SKCM Alps :)

Alps are obviously better, Cherry MX Blues sound like plastic Smith-Corona leaf springs.
-
Topre... if people consider it one.
If not, properly lubed retooled blacks win me over everytime
-
I also love razer greens for their clickiness. :V
-
Beamsprings, Lubed Holy Pandas, Blue Alps
-
I actually have a deep love for Cherry MX Blues. If you fix the rattling on them they can feel and sound very nice.

No just the regular switch. There isn't much for switch options in my area.
-
SKCL>SKCM>>Lubed Linears/Silenced EC>>>>>everything else
Especially I don’t like the sound of holy pandas... weird.

Then how did you fix the rattle on them? Or do you mean the stabs
