Klippe has the same fitment as the applauded Fjell case. It provides a unique, and fantastic typing experience. With a new 2019 design revision, we dare to say that this is the best 60 percent case you can get for $120.

Listening to customer feedback is the best, and most effective way to improve a product. Thank you for all your feedback, here are some of the updates.

Detail

Instead of our logo, we now use our signature nature details.

New USB

Made a bit smaller. Will still fit all 60% PCBs with normal USB placement. (blue parts are where it is made smaller).

Finish

The anodizing and sandblasting will be even finer than before. New tooling will reduce and remove anodizing hook marks. Better sandblasting technique will provide a better surface to anodize.

Screws

Screw holes will be tapped after anodizing to make sure there are no residue material, and make sure you can get the longest lasting, most effective screw posts as possible. Will also use stainless steel inserts for high quality screw holes.

Price

The case now cost only $120, before $179. This is achieved by ramping up production quantity, and losing profit margin.

Hoped it would be more acceptable with a $50 reduction in pricing, however I do understand that it is frustrating considering the lower priced case.

I agree that the shipping is expensive. I will look into options for further rounds, so if you want to wait a bit for that, you are welcome to. Klippe will run again, it isn't supposed to be limited.

I can tell you that it is a pretty hefty case, with good, protective packaging.

Not to bash on the Tofu (it is a great case for it's price), however this case is quite different in terms of weight, design details, mounting etc.

It's shipping time.

First up are Limited Edition Brass cases, then the other cases will ship. Hopefully, we are able to conclude this group buy in June/early July!
