Datacomp alps are alps clones, however nothing will compare to the original alps switches in terms of feel and sound. They feel and sound fine but never go beyond extraordinary when it comes to switches.

They're a temporary replacement , however all alps clones as most keyboard enthusiasts will never match up to the real deal.

Datacomp Alps switches are made using the same tooling used to make SKBM, so I'd assume they're close to that.

Not great, apparently.

Trying to improve/reuse SKBM is polishing a turd, imo.
