BON has some M4-1's in Ivory (http://cgi.ebay.com/IBM-Model-M4-1-Trackpoint-Keyboard-84H8503-Ivory-CLEAN-/130394104307?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e5c1821f3#ht_1002wt_911) and Black (http://cgi.ebay.com/IBM-Model-M4-1-Trackpoint-Keyboard-84G2524-Black-CLEAN-/130394108391?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e5c1831e7#ht_1002wt_911).

Used to sell the black ones for about $30-40... $60 is a bit too much for what they are.
-
The difference is that something like this is probably a better overall proposition -

This is the newer version which, AFAIK, has been quite well received.
EDIT: Sounds like it has some pretty serious issues... One of the reviews tried to refute some of the negative reviews by saying "I'm an average typist who types at 40WPM so I don't think [the above issues] are relative for most people"
Designed by idiots for idiots it seems...

why he black one is more expensive than the Ivory one?
the cable adress a better condition than the black one
-
Demand, most poeple prefer the Black.
-
Hmm, I think I'll stick to my plan of chopping up an M2 and sticking in a custom controller.
-
I think I would prefer a good ultranav. Pretty much the same price and twice as good:

Black one sold.
Good taste.
No bad taste. The black ones get shiny easier, they're harder to see, and you waste more money for a mediocre small form keyboard.
-
If anyone wants a black one in good condition, let me know.

I may consider buying it if you'll sell it like for $10 lol. It wouldn't be worth more than that to me.
Although, isn't unicomp making buckling spring versions of those? You could keep your IBM case and pop buckling spring internals in it.
EDIT: nevermind, I'm just going crazy.
