Title: How to remove keycap from space bar on Bloody B930
Post by: trybik123 on Mon, 03 June 2019, 08:39:27
Hello,
does anybody know how to remove a keycap from the space bar on Bloody B930?
It seems like I can't do that from the outside like on other keyboards with Cherry switches.
Other keycaps are removable like on Cherry, only the space bar is attached to something.

Thanks!

If you can get some close up pix of your board, that would be helpful. I've never heard of this brand

Bloody is a keyboard company that makes optical switch boards.

Their keyboards are recognized by the bloody hand on them. Whats unique about these keyboards is that you can set an actuation point for macros and customize the switch itself.

I use two wire keycap pullers like these: https://www.amazon.com/WASD-Keyboards-Wire-Keycap-Puller/dp/B00AZCGF7K

Worst case you can pull out your bottom row modifier caps and use your two index fingers to lift from the bottom of the sides of the cap upward. Make sure to pull upward and not at an angle. I don't recommend doing this method since you can ruin your cap, but if you don't want to spend the money, it is an option.
