Hello Geekhack friends!
Hello Geekhack friends!
U2F keys (like the YubiKey) are getting increasingly popular nowadays. They are two-factor authentication keys that make it more secure and easy to access online accounts (like Google, Facebook etc) and apps (1Password, etc).
Since U2F is an open protocol and and security element is a $5 chip, wouldn't it be amazing to have a mech keyboard with embedded U2F? One device that does that is the PixelBook (the power key acts as a U2F).
Any PCB designers willing to try?
