Title: succulent flavored keycaps (yum)

hey yall,

been posting on insta/mk for a little while and I thought maybe I should get something going here (my insta (https://www.instagram.com/bloom.caps/))

i love succulents. the cap market was sorely missing my succbois as keycaps so i made some myself.

first sculpt (1.0.0-beta):

right now, it's just a sculpt of echeveria, which, if you're a succulent nerd, are just amazing. i'm hoping to get these into production/hold a raffle soon but i work full time (programmers whattup!) and still have a lot to learn about casting and finishing.

i also have something im working up called bloomflayer (yes, BG3 hype):

a lot of progress updates happen on my insta because its easier to post pictures than GH, but i'm here for feedback!! also succulents, and i hope yall like plants as much as me :)

really looking for advice on how to polish/finish something so detailed ? a lot of references i find are "hey get this buffer" and I'd rather do it by hand/get into the detail of my caps tbh

nice. both versions of your succulents look very good. i knew what they were right away. the minty green (beta) is a great color for that.

bloomflayer kinda reminds me of "the MAXX" would be great in the purple/yellow colorway

dunno what "the MAXX" is, but i have a sketch of some basic af colorway, like mindflayer + succulent:

but purple/yellow is a SUPER good thought. havent started casting him yet but that is for sure something i will try out

what about making the bottom of the cap on the succulents look like a flower pot?
love your organic natural look (insta). roses have been done before but these are so much more organic.

Nice job.. Looks very similar to the plants you'd find in a nice battlestation, love to have a tiny companion on one of my keyboards.
