I looked on the lay out chart again, trying to switch to factory setting, which is HHKB mode. don't quite understand that
switch 1 turn on the lite mode
switch 2 turn on the Mac mode
on back of the pro2, switch code chart. none of the switch 1 nor 2 turn on the HHKB mode??
want it to try the HHKB mode, which no cap lock, and when press fn
"N, M, H, J" key don't show the +-*/ sign.
I can't figure it out. any tips?
t
thanks

Leave both switches off (down).

well, I tried, but it still has caps lock and enter work, the +-*/ still work when press the fn key.

You need to unplug it from the PC while you make changes to the DIP switches.
-
Thanks. it worked.
how to do caps lock in the HHKB mode ?
my enter key still work, isn't it need to press fn and return key to make it work?
Thanks for your help

Lol... you will need to prove it to me that you know it......

I guess you have white HHKB,
the fn + tabs doesn't work under the HHKB factory setting mode.
what about the "enter" key? under the HHKB mode it should work when press fn and return key, but mine return key still work under the HHKB mode as enter.
I am new , so please bear with me....

yeah, the chart is for lite mode or mac mode. you have posted the chart earlier http://www.pfusystems.com/hhkeyboard/leaflet/hairetu.html
if you look at it you will see the HHKB mode has different fn layout. I think there is no caps lock under HHKB mode, not sure if return key just work as enter key, or need to press fn+return key.
well, I bought this keyboard, bc too many lucrative post made me jump into this thing.. lol
