Hell yeah, super cool idea. I'd be 100% in for the PCB and stuff, would you consider doing the parts separately?

The thing that gives me pause with the current case design is that it looks like you'd end up using the stick with your middle finger and clicking with your index/ring finger? It doesn't look like it would be super comfy to use your thumb to do it at the moment

Can we go even further and offer a real arcade stick compatibility with like sanwa JLF ? I mean at this point why not, I'm in  :p

Perhaps pair it with a classic arcade joystick instead?

Reason being.. ergonomically speaking, people will put this & their keyboard on the desk. And that small thumb joystick is something meant to be hand-held, not on desk.

It could work on the desk if you put it in a case shaped similarly to a rollerball mouse (which is what I wanted to do with the PCB :P) which positioned your thumb above it.

It might also need to be a bit bigger/heavier to work with an arcade style joystick w/o falling over :/

Can the joystick be mapped to something other than the cursor? Like arrow keys?

I mean.. A smaller arcade joystick, it doesn't have to be as big as the arcade machine one haha.

I don't know, it's just that at a glance, I feel that the only thing I usually operates using my thumbs is my spacebar.

But yeah other than that I do understand your point.

I’d be in if the USB is on the side, that way I could put it under my keyboard like laptop trackpads.

As a scrollwheel when my right index finger gets tired (i'm serious. I was looking for a pitch bend wheel mechanism to do this, but unfortunately nobody makes something like that. Then I realized an arcade joystick will also work)

Any chance the pcb will be available separately?

First of all, it will be a joystick pad faithful to the basic functions.
Since then, we are planning various versions that can be applied to various places.

Interesting! How do you use this? You put your thumb on the stick like a Playstation controller, or use it with your fingers?

I would like to make the stick volume up/down and back/forward and just program the two buttons to something else. I'd love an LZ USB hub, too.
