Title: Lubing and silencing HHKB?
Post by: rickwest on Mon, 05 August 2019, 16:22:09
Basically, I'm after lubing and silencing my HHKB and just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for the best lube to use and know of any available the UK? Only thing i've found is https://mechboards.co.uk/product/ro-59-switch-lubricant-5ml/ but no idea whether it's any good for Topres. Have ready that Tribosys or something would be better, but can't find that anywhere. Any advice is much appreciated!

Lube is more about preferences but i had good luck with krytox lube.

Whops doesn't have krytox anymore but only tribosys

I actually did use the 3204 krytox and I think it work very well

the point is that you should only lube the Rail not the whole slider

and just get 1 tiny bit for each one...

this one actually:
