I'm looking for a quality custom 60% - 65% custom keyboard or keyboard cases. Trying to get into the hobby.

If you want people to recommend keyboards that you want, provide the price range, materials, layout, switch, and other things that you want. Otherwise nobody has any idea what you mean by a 'quality' custom keyboard. Also you're probably not going to be able to buy any decent custom without waiting (at minimum) several months and building it yourself or paying someone to do it for you.

If he is just getting into hobby he probably can't really provide materials, layout, switches, etc.., because of the non-existing experience with any, so the price range would be the only factor.

Definitely take a look at KBDFans DIY kits (https://kbdfans.com/collections/diy-kit). This is the customs most people start with. I suggest you to try it out, so later you could use your experience and make more conscious decisions.
