Hey all. All of my parts for my new board shipped in and I'm incredibly antsy to build: however, I realized very late into this that I forgot to purchase Nylon / electrical-resistant washers for my screw-in stabs. I don't want to risk shorting the PCB. (dz65rgb) Can anyone link washers from a local hardware store (Ace Hardware, Menards, Lowes, etc.) that I could pick up day of? I really don't want to wait another four days to custom order some washers, especially with weekend hours. Thanks!

Off the top of my head I'm not sure of the size you'd need. Although if you just take one of the screws with you to any of those hardware stores you mentioned they'll definitely have washers that'll work for you. The other option would be, if you will not be able to see the bottom of the PCB through the case, to just use small pieces of electrical tape to insulate the screws from any through holes or SMDs they could contact. I've done that on a bunch of builds & it works just as well as washers IMHO.

shouldn't need washers. 1st i've heard that request. traces should be well away form the screw ports. if there is a wide trace/fill around the screw hole it's probably ground and not an issue.

I have a bag of these (https://amzn.to/2m4TYTV), and they have been pretty good at insulating the screws for the screw-in stabs. Not to mention I have enough for any future builds to come.
