Title: Why is it so hard to obtain desktop backgrounds for keycap sets?

Most of the deskmat pictures are on dark backgrounds, and i think that most of them would make pretty great wallpapers.

I have to screenshot them, crop them and then they turn out terrible quality. :(

Are you resizing them too?  If so what are you using?  Paint is not known for image quality :))
