GMK MA-1

A keyset inspired by the MA-1 flight jacket.

Usually I'm not a big fan of green but this reminds me some very nice childhood memories.
(Un)fortunately for me it's a GMK set, so I'm out, but GL with this set, it's a fancy keyboard «bomber» jacket !

On the subjective matters: IMHO the two tones of green go well together; the orange clashes (in the jacket itself, the orange is placed upon the insides entirely and does not interact, so to speak, with the outer greens).


As per layout:
- Atlantis ISO — go full English (USA) or full English (UK), or both, but avoid the Atlantis ISO mistake.
- No numpad? If you choose not to include it, say so (and why).
- No split space bars? (as above)
- I dig that you have Super and Alt both in 1.5U and 1.0U. That said, no 1.0U Ctrl keys?

This is a work in progress and I would love to hear your opinions. The set is currently using text only mods but I'm open to changing this.

i agree with all your points but he's new and probably just wanted to get out what he has so far to see if there was any interest.

side note i agree with text only mods. not enough sets with them. they look much cleaner personaly but i don't have a preference, so long as they aren't icon only mods like in the gmk masterpiece ic *vomit*

I appreciate you pointing these things out I will work on solving them tomorrow. As I said this is a work in progress. :thumb:

I can live with text mods for everything... except the arrow keys. The legends "up", "down", "left", "right" strike me as excessive.

This is very nice and makes me consider getting a new olive-ish keyboard that would work better w/ theses kind of tones. Ergo support would be appreciated and blank alphas would be super but anyway I'll be definitely in for one if it becomes a reality in any form close to what I am looking at now.

I suggest doing a render on a different background color, because the background is already olive green it makes the whole set look gray.

Also text arrows are pretty cool and I think they fit this aesthetic.
