Tough call, If you're on the fence w/ christmas shopping in mind, I'd say the theater is money well spent if you're in it for the big budget action Xplosions .

If you're in it for "the plot"  ,, mmm. maybe wait for the Bluray so you get the extra ownership (value wise)

I don’t mind if the plot is not deep, hell, I kinda enjoy The Rise of The Machines. So, looks like I might just get some entertainment out of this.
