There was the Filco Zero, but those have been discontinued in the US for awhile now (they should still be available in Asia).  They aren't a true "mini" like the Minitouch; they are just a numpad-less 'board.

I may have to save my pennies and order a second one as a spare then

My old thread on the subject: http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?t=5998&do (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?t=5998&do)

Most of them are pretty rare, although there might be a few ortek's out there as I was able to find one.

I really want to find an Aron, or a Japanese Filco minitouch. ;)

The Alps are my favorite key switch.

Buckling springs would probably be my 2nd choice.

The cherrys are too high pitch for my liking.

With a bit of luck you can find a SMK-85, itīs strongman alps most of the times but I really likes them. They sound even better when I changed the thin flimsy keycaps to double shots from a NeXt keyboard.
