Hello! Glad to be here and looking forward to learning more about keebs. My first mechanical keyboard was purchased a year ago. It was a Tada68 with Cherry Brown switches. While it's not the sexiest thing around, it was my gateway into a new hobby/passion.
Since then, I purchased the Rev 3 Preonic, which has been my daily driver for 6 months. I haven't plugged my TADA keyboard in since - I love the Preonic! It exposed me to QMK, a variety of switches (love the hot-swap feature), and have also picked up a handful of keycap sets. While it's not the cheapest hobby around, as someone who uses his keyboard about > 8hrs a day, I've found this hobby to be quite rewarding and fun.
