Title: Case for Ducky One 2 SF?
Post by: slydewd on Thu, 28 November 2019, 12:16:59
Hey, I am new to smaller mechanical keyboards and I was wondering if there are any aluminium/metal cases for it. I don't like the plastic :D

Nope, because of having 3 nav keys about the arrow cluster there is no aftermarket cades I am aware of that it would work with. If it had the normal 660C layout or even Varmillo's V68 layout you could probably jerry rig one of the metal cases for those to work with a one 2 SF. As it is the only way I could think of getting it into a metal case would be to desolder & get rid of the Pg Dwn switch, then putting it in one of those alum cases for the 660M if you can find one.

Thank you for the help! I haven't decided what keyboard I want yet but I am not confident in my soldering skills :,)
Thought it would be easy to just get a decent enough keyboard and change the bad case ;)
