Anyone from the UK know of an easy to source equivalent to Krytox 205g0? Or even Tribosys 3204?
No where in the UK seems to stock either of those; surely an equivalent exists? Seems crazy to have to import a few ml of lubricant!

If you can't find Krytox or Trybosis, I have tried using PTFE powder as a lubricant for MX switches. It is supposed to be better than both grease lubricants, but it is pretty messy. It wasn't a problem for me. I lubed around 100 vintage blacks with the powder, and used around 1/3 of the entire thing, so I'm not sure that it is equivalent to Krytox or Trybosis on price per switch.

Thanks, to be honest I might just have to take the hit and order some (there's an 'offer' on Drop currently).
I did think about trying to find something similar. Did a little googling to find out exactly what Krytox was and uncovered this:
Krytox fluorinated oils are a series of low molecular weight, fluorine end-capped, homopolymers of hexafluoropropylene epoxide with the following chemical structure:
F-(CF-CF2-O)n-CF2CF3
| where n=10 to 60
CF3
The polymer chain is completely saturated and contains only the elements carbon, oxygen, and fluorine; hydrogen is not present. On a weight basis, typical Krytox oil contains 21.6% carbon, 9.4% oxygen, and 69.0% fluorine.
And thought, yes, maybe I'll just order some instead of trying to find something the same ;)

Scotland here - I've ordered Krytox 205g0 for myself from mykeyboard.eu (https://mykeyboard.eu/catalogue/krytox-gpl-205-grade-0-switch-lubricant-1-ml_942/)
I've ordered stuff from them in the past as I couldn't find it anywhere in UK's shops.

Brilliant. They were out of stock when I looked originally. Just ordered some 👍

Ha, just looked in there again and all are out of stock.
Make sure you will get order confirmation from them and invoice as I ordered mine week ago and they forgot about it. Chased them yesterday and today and finally got an answer from them today that it will be posted today.

Yes got the confirmation but that’s useful info, thanks 🙏

I use something called Slug Slime Ultra - weirdly it's available on eBay (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bike-Grease-Ultra-15g-Fluorinated-PFPE-syringe-MTB-BMX-chain-gear-repair-cycle/254197722972), but not their actual website - it's about £12 for 15g and when I emailed them to ask about the composition (I explained I was looking for an alternative to Krytox 205g0 and what I needed it for) they sent me this:
This is a fully synthetic, fluorinated grease based on a mid-range viscosity PFPE fluid. It is a white grease, with PTFE thickener, NLGI grade 2 and is totally inert both chemically and physically. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 200 C and is suitable for the lubrication of all plastics and elastomers, however it does not mix with other non-fluorinated greases.
Which sounds an awful lot like the formulation of Krytox to me. I've only done a few Gat blacks with it so far, but it goes on nicely and hasn't resulted in any visible damage to the switches, and it makes a noticeable difference to the feel and the sound.

Hmmm, that sounds like a definite possibilty if the Krytox doesn't turn up!

I was talking to some people the other day, and found 50g of Krytox on Taobao.
