Title: Gizmodo Article on Cables

Not groundbreaking, but good informative info on cables and connectors.  I found this when trying to figure out why my wife's phone has a new "micro usb" connector instead of the "mini usb", which we already have tons of around the house.

A nice reference for the tech savvy.

Useless...get this one instead.

Would link to original but it's on a mac.com website. I can't support that nonsense.

I've seen the vast majority of the things shown in that chart IRL. Should I be worried?

It's also quite out of date - Socket 715 to replace Socket 755... waaaah?

Ah yes very nice chart.  The more the merrier.  If you have pics of stuff not listed on either chart, post it up with a brief description, anecdote, or erotic fiction.

Needs BNC.  British Navel Connector.

Huh.  I used BNC connectors back in the day, but never knew what it stood for.  Learn something new every day I guess.

The BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman) connector is a very common type of RF connector used for terminating coaxial cable.
