For the past few weeks, Tp4 has been hearing the tones D, and G, in random distributions whenever it's quiet, (which it almost always is round here).
Thoughts ?
Has it finally happened?
Has Tp4's brain circuits been cooked by all these monitors and WIFI enabled Devices ??

TP4 has tinnitus?
It's possible, but it's not ringing, it's very distinct tones. ddddggdgdgggdgggdgdg
Kind of like slot machine sounds

It is everywhere you go or just in your home? Could be HVAC fan reverberating in air ducts?

Sometimes i hear tones in the wrong tune if the volume is low. I don't think you're going insane at all.

I have had this a few times. I had it very recently in fact and it lasted about two or three weeks. I normally have a ringing in my ears when it's quiet, but I had a very distinct pulsating bass sound in my right ear that I thought was something outdoors or in the house, but I eventually determined it was in my ear because it was always in the right ear no matter the direction I faced. I think this was caused by shooting rifles with inadequate hearing protection (just muffs, but no plugs under them) the day before I noticed it.
A couple years ago, before I'd figured out it was in my ear, I went outside and walked about a mile outside of my neighborhood chasing the sound at 3 AM (that time it actually did sound as though it had been coming from one particular direction), but I never found it and didn't want to walk any farther. That time it sounded more like a helicopter or turbine or hot tub jet in the distance.
The first sound went away after a couple weeks, but I'd been hearing the other one for about a year before it stopped.

It's actually normal to hear sounds when it's dead silent, happens all the time in hearing test rooms but that's usually when it it's absolutely dead silent.
What you may be hearing is like Kavik said, something far off and only when conditions are just right for it. When right, sound can travel a damn long ways, it can also be echoing off things making it even harder to identify. In my old neighborhood you could talk quietly in your garage and people 6 and 7 houses down would hear you as if you were standing in the street having a conversation.

Or your hearing is sensitive enough to hear bad actors trying to ex-filtrate data from your PC
