Hello!
I am 29 and from Virginia. Work, Olympic weight lifting and rock climbing takes up most of my free time.
How I got into Mechanical Keyboards...! Over memorial day last year I was traveling to see my lady friend (girlfriend, I call her my lady friend as a joke.) We are currently doing long distance. One of the days while i was there we were cleaning out her back room to find some of her adventure gear to get ready for a trip to New Hampshire. While search I found a box of old keyboards she had! She said her ex's left them when they split up and he didn't want them. Inside the box was 3 mechanical keyboards and a smaller taped up loot crate box. She saw I got really excited after playing with them. She said I could have the box if I wanted, she was just going to donate the box anyway. I have been using this Multicam Filco for a few months and it is awesome!
How I found you...! I opened the taped up loot crate box! Inside had a bunch of keycaps. Some skulls, a pumpkin, a one eye'd yeti, boba fett, something jason like, **** butt. Some 3D printed I think, some made of clay, and one that said "Geek Hack" on it. SO I googled it and BOOM here I am. Been looking periodically at them and finally sat down to look at everything.
I thought I made a post a while ago, but couldn't find it, so I thought I would give a proper introduction. Been poking around the site and I think I am going to try and make a key cap of my own. Bought some clay from Michael's and hopefully I will make something neat. I have really been into serial killer podcasts and tv shows as of late. Thinking I might make one along those line.
Cheers!

Hello. Cool story. I bet you couldn't imagine yourself having never found that old box of keyboards now, squishing away on a rubber dome.
