Just watched the 60fps 4K home version.
High Framerate is clearly still experimental at this point, the technical language used for 24fps does not translate.
Also hardware requirements. 1060 and 1660ti can not do MADVR's HDR dynamic tone mapping @ 60fps Prolly need at least 2080ti, Had to resort to using the Tv's own crappy HDR tonemapping for playback..
Anyone else see this film in High frame rate ? Thoughts ?

I thought it looked good from the trailer ... Turned it on and started skipping around because the dialogue, story and acting was so bad.

Was the acting really so bad, or was it the 60fps making it look fake ?
Even for the mouth movements, because now we can see it so clearly, the dub-over is often visible .
And I'm not sure about this one, but because of the HFR, it gives you a very clear perception of Distance to character, so now it's very obvious that the sound isn't coming from where you Expect it to come from. Perhaps that Dolby Atmos can address this in the future, but to place sound so precisely, it'd have to have some sort of object based in-home calibration.

Admittedly, not a gud' movie

I approached this movie with a light head, watched it and I think it was ok. Not a great movie, but ok - a simple action movie, nothing fancy, but I liked it as a relax time entertainment.

Same here. Wasn’t amazing, but I wasn’t expecting it to be. I like watching Will Smith and it entertained me for $6 in comfy seats so, checks all my boxes.

Saw it in theaters so not sure, but nothing felt off from visual or audio perspective.

Pretty sure it's at least 60fps in theaters, most newer digi projectors do 60hz.

only 4K version released in 60fps. look for 4K versions. not sure about web 4k versions but you'd be able to tell the difference right away, there's no mistaking 60fps for 24

Was projected in selected cinemas at 120fps
Will say that young Smith looks more like his son than his actual younger self.

Yea even dolby cinema can only do 2k 120fps,
Very few theaters can do the 4K 120.
