Hey everyone thanks for letting me join this great community.
Just got my first mid end mech board and loving it.
Keychron K4 with gat brown switches.

Please let me know when the next board meet up is would love to meet some locals and see some crazy set ups.

Hello, and welcome. I have looked at those boards before. How would you compare Gateron browns to Cherry MX Brown? I do believe i have heard that they're much improved in the ... scratchiness department. I'm a clicky guy though myself.

Honestly I prefer the Gat over Cherrys for brown switches. They feel alot smoother IMO, I didn't like how much heavier cherrys felt.

Heavier? Really? Interesting. I can't say for sure whether or not I have ever typed on Gaterons of any kind at all myself. I have always considered Cherry MX Brown to be very light, but I'm a clicky guy. The consensus does seem to be that Gaterons are usually much better than Cherry MX.
