Title: Hello from Southern Germany
Post by: doveman on Mon, 20 January 2020, 05:55:32
Hello to all of you geekhackers! I've been a fan of mechanical keyboards ever since I bought my first one: a Steelseries 6gv2 with Cherry MX Black. Right now I'm typing on a Lioncast LK20 with Cherry MX Blue.
I would love to take up the hobby of building mechanical keyboards, as I also love tech in general. Any tips for newbies are very welcome! Thank you all.

Welcome, doveman. Those blues must feel as light as a feather after blacks. If you like those clickies, I suggest trying box jades or navies (for modern Cherry MX-compatible boards), complicated blue alps, and capacitive buckling spring (for retro switches, which seem to be considered by many to be amongst the best around).
